Valentine’s Day and Love

Every year on February 14, Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the world. It is known as the Day of Love and the feast day of St. Valentine of Rome. It is celebrated yearly to appreciate and remember our love towards our partner, family, friends and towards ourselves. This year isn’t any different, despite all the challenges and difficulties that arose, we still celebrated valentine’s day. Amidst all the chaos and trouble that happened, it is important that we still remember love and its importance for everyone.

Due to all the issues that happened recently, it is very difficult to celebrate valentine’s day. A pandemic has taken over the world, chaos and violence are happening in various countries, the injustice of various events in different places, riots against governments, and many more negative incidents have been happening. Because of this, it is hard for many people to fully enjoy and celebrate valentine’s day. But despite the negativity going around lately, it is important that we let love take over. Through valentine’s day, we are reminded of the love that we receive and the love that we can give to others. It is important that we let the positivity of love, guide us instead of the negativity that the world is bringing. It isn’t necessary that we find a partner to celebrate valentine’s day with, but it is enough to simply appreciate the love that we get from our family, friends, and from our surroundings. It isn’t essential to go on dates to remember the day of love, but doing small but sincere acts of kindness can also be a way to show love. Its important for everyone to spread love instead of hate, and it is important that we celebrate love on any day, whether it is valentine’s day or not.

This valentine’s day, we celebrate the love for our lover, our family, our friends, and for others. We appreciate the happiness that it brings, and we bask in the positivity it leaves us with. We appreciate the love we receive from others by showing gratefulness. And we give the love to others in various ways. This valentine’s day, despite all the chaos happening all over the world, it is important that we celebrate love.
