Viva Vigan! Viva Kababaihan!

The National Women’s Month is a special month of celebration for women. This is a special time to remember the hardships faced by women, and to honor the achievements they have accomplished in order to reach the desired change. The theme for this year’s National Women’s Month is “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!” the theme emphasizes the hard work done, and the hardships faced by women especially in the pandemic.

The women of Vigan bring great importance and contributions. They are known for their crafts, and artistry. While some are also known for their bravery such as the known hero, Gabriela Silang. They also bring great influence in the food and culture. Just like the weaving of abel and the making of empanadas. The women of Vigan bring greatness and honor to the province.

Women have great importance in the world. They bring great help and contributions for change. They show strength to achieve different goals in life. And they have bravery to fight and get through every hardship that life brings. They have the wisdom and knowledge to solve various problems. And they have kindness for others and loyalty for their people. From the past, until the present, they will strive and fight for change. The Bigueno women bring great pride for their province, without them, Ilocos would not be the way it is. They bring great honor and culture. Viva Vigan! Viva ang mga Kababaihan!
